Done for Illustration III, fall 2006.
Assignment was to illustrate the word "red".
Fredrix canvas board (angst!), wood and Elmer's glue mixed with sand and gesso (instant concrete), acrylic and latex paints.
Getting the blood spatter to do that was a simple "i-don't-want-to-do-this-it-won't-come-out-right-i'm-gonna-die!" experiments with a couple handfuls of paint. Also, sorry for the bad picture, I'll try to get a better one shot. (ha ha! shot. gun. blood. nevermind.)
